Site Infrastructure IT Support Specialist
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft Windows 11 operating systems on desktops and laptops in accordance with organizational standards and security policies
- Perform system imaging, provisioning, and domain/Entra ID joining for new and replacement devices
- Maintain and support Windows 11 workstations, ensuring optimal performance, stability, and security across the environment
- Apply operating system updates, security patches, and feature upgrades to ensure systems remain compliant and protected
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and OS-related issues, including boot failures, performance degradation, and application incompatibilities
- Configure and manage system settings, user profiles, permissions, and endpoint security tools (e.g., antivirus, BitLocker, Defender)
- Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of business applications and peripherals (printers, scanners, docking stations, etc.)
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including disk cleanup, performance tuning, and system health checks to ensure reliability and uptime
- Provide technical support to end users, including troubleshooting Windows 11 issues and documenting resolutions in ticketing systems
- Maintain asset inventory and documentation for Windows devices, including system configurations, licensing, and lifecycle tracking
- Assist with development and enforcement of IT standards, policies, and procedures related to endpoint management and security
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and upgrading Microsoft Windows 11 in an enterprise environment
- Proven ability to deploy and maintain Windows 11 workstations, including imaging, provisioning, and domain or Entra ID integration
- Hands-on experience performing routine system maintenance, including patching, updates, and performance optimization
- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving Windows OS, hardware, software, and peripheral issues
- Experience managing endpoint security controls such as antivirus, BitLocker encryption, and system hardening
- Ability to support and maintain enterprise applications and end-user devices (printers, docking stations, peripherals)
- Experience providing end-user support in a ticket-driven environment, with strong documentation practices
- Familiarity with asset management, system documentation, and lifecycle tracking of endpoint devices
- Understanding of IT policies, standards, and security best practices in a corporate environment
